Insurance

We recommend that you take out insurance for the transport of your car, motorcycle or boat. Unfortunately, there is always a chance that events can occur that are beyond anybody’s control. Such events can include heavy storms at sea, fallen containers, fire or other accidents.

Our insurance partner can meet all your needs in this regard and offer you a simple and beneficial policy. If anything unexpected happens, then they will ensure that everything works out fine.

Costs

  • 2% of the purchase value of the vehicle + transport costs

 

Including

  • 12-month policy period from registered date of the start of the transport.
  • The cover is valid from the pick-up address of the seller up to and including the removal from the container (i.e. including inland transport).
  • All-risk policy: all forms of damage in transit are covered.
  • The policy therefore also covers total loss.

 

Conditions

  • Policies from €200 per vehicle transported.
  • A €500 excess applies.

 

In the event of doubt, we advise that you take out insurance. In this way, you needn’t worry about a thing and all matters are taken off your hands. Any damage resulting from fire, theft or any other cause is therefore covered. Although such extreme events rarely occur, why take the risk of your dream car turning into a nightmare? Arrangement of this insurance is extremely simple. A registration form will be sent to you, which you fill in and return. The form will then be sent to importautos.nl, who will then contact you.
